About the Exam

The UGC NET Psychology exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for eligibility as Assistant Professor or for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in Psychology.

The exam has two papers held on the same day:

Paper I (General – common for all subjects): Paper I tests teaching & research aptitude, reasoning, comprehension, and higher education system awareness.

Paper II (Subject-specific – Psychology): Paper II tests advanced understanding of Psychology with 10 units covering the entire discipline.

Both papers are objective type MCQs with no negative marking.
